Jolein van den Bogaart

Alongside her work as a psychologist, Jolein makes ceramics. Her work is characterised by soft, organic forms and a playful quality. No two pieces are alike: small imperfections and movement in the shapes make each object unique. Glazes play an important role, sometimes subtle in earthy tones, sometimes vivid and expressive, allowing a piece to stand out.
